Copyright, open access, and archiving policy

Copyright
A submitted manuscript, when published will become the property of the journal. The copyrights of all published materials are owned by the author, the World Journal of Experimental Biosciences, and the publisher.  

Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to transfer the copyright for their content to the World J Exp Biosci, and the publisher. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information to the readers. A letter will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript. A form facilitating the transfer of copyright will be provided to the author of the manuscript at that time.

If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.

Open access

World J Exp Biosci is an open-access journal, therefore there are no fees required for downloading any publication from the journal website by authors, readers, and institutions. The journal applies the license of CC BY (a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license). This license allows authors to keep ownership of the copyright of their papers. But this license permits any user to download, print out, extract, reuse, archive, and distribute the article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and the source of the work. The license ensures that the article will be available as widely as possible and that the article can be included in any scientific archive.

Archiving policy

The full text of World J Exp Biosci has been archived on the website of the journal and other websites such as the open academic journal index (https://oaji.net/journal-detail.html?number=3483). According to the deposit policy (self-archiving policy), authors cannot archive pre-print (i.e., pre-refereeing), but they can archive post-print (i.e., final draft post-refereeing). Authors can archive the publisher’s version/PDF. World J Exp Biosci provides the electronic backup and preservation of access to the journal content in the event the journal is no longer published by the above websites.
